About 'The Last Song I'm Wasting On You'
This song was written by Amy Lee during recording Evanescence's second album The Open Door, however, was cut from the track listing. When fans pre-ordered the album through iTunes, they received the song as a bonus track. It can also be found as a B-Side on the Lithium single. The song is a solo ballad with just Amy singing and playing piano. Amy has hinted the song was dedicated to former band member Ben Moody in an interview with Spin Magazine. The lyrics to this heartfelt song is below.
